Özet

Bu çalışmada; sigaranın diyabet ve obezite üzerine etkisininin araştırılması amaçlandı. Ayrıca rutinde serum glukozu yerine tercih edilecek bazı testlerin daha güvenilir ve takip hastaları için tercih edilebileceği vurgulanmaya çalışıldı. Sigara içen ve içmeyen olmak üzere 37 Diabetes Mellitus'lu (DM) hastada ve 50 obez kişide bazı biyokimyasal parametreler çalışıldı. The aims of this study were to investigate the effects of smoking on Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG), Trygliceride (TG), Total Cholesterol (TC), High Density Lipoprotein (HDL), Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL), fructosamine and HbAıc levels and Establish Risk Factor (ERF) in DM type 2 and obesity in addition to overview the usefulness of different biochemical parameters in follow-up patients. 37 patients with DM, 50 cases with obesitywith Body Mass Index.
