Destinasyon Rekabetçiliğinde İmaj, Değer ve Kalite: Şehirlerarası Bir Karşılaştırma

Özet

Ulusal kültüre ait değerler, normlar ve kurallar gibi unsurlar turistlerindavranışlarını, beklentilerini, algılarını önemli ölçüde etkilemektedir.Özellikle ortak turistik ve kültürel değerler taşıyan komşu destinasyonlardaturistlerin zihinlerinde oluşan destinasyon imajı, yaşadıkları deneyiminkalitesi ve algıladıkları değer destinasyon rekabetçiliğinde önemli biravantaj sağlamaktadır. Bu nedenle araştırmada iki komşu destinasyon olanKastamonu ve Çankırı illerinin ziyaretçilerin gözünden destinasyon imajı,algılanan değer ve deneyim kalitesi düzeylerini tespit etmek ve bu iki şehrinbirbirine üstün oldukları boyutları incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmakapsamında Kastamonu ve Çankırı şehir merkezlerinde toplam 701 kişiyeyönelik anket uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Kastamonuşehrinin destinasyon imajı, algılanan değeri ve deneyim kalitesinin Çankırışehrinden anlamlı ve pozitif farklılığa sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

The elements of national cultures such as values, norms and rules significantly affect the behavior, expectations and perceptions of tourists. Especially in neighboring destinations with common touristic and cultural values, the destination image, experience quality and the perceived value formed in the minds of tourists provides a significant advantage in destination competitiveness. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the destination image, perceived value and experience quality levels from the eyes of the visitors two neighboring destinations, Kastamonu and Çankırı, and to examine the superiority of these two cities. Within the scope of the research, a questionnaire was applied to 701 people in Kastamonu and Çankırı city centers. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the destination image, perceived value and experience quality of Kastamonu city has a significant and positive difference from Çankırı city.
