Abstract

The study aims at making a relative ranking regarding the emergency services of the public hospitals in AI grup in Turkey by utilizing the variable of the patient satisfaction rate, the mortality rate and the referral rate from emergency services. In order to carry out the mentioned goal, TOPSIS and grey relational analysis methods, which are from the multi-criteria decision making methods, have been used. No sampling is included in the study and the study involves 52 hospitals that are active in Turkey and located in AI group. The data for the study covers the year 2016. Ms. Excel has been used to analyze the data of the study. Taking into consideration of the results obtained from both grey relational analysis and TOPSIS method, it is concluded that, according to the mentioned variables, the hospital numbered as 29470 takes first place in the list, the hospital 1976185 is the second worst and the one 888550 is the third worst. In addition, a high correlation of %82 has been found between the obtained sequences.
