DİJİTAL HASTANE UYGULAMALARININ HASTANE ÇALIŞANLARININ VE YÖNETİCİLERİNİN PERSPEKTİFİNDEN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ; BİR DEVLET HASTANESİ ÖRNEĞİ

EVALUATION OF DIGITAL HOSPITAL PRACTICES FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES AND EXECUTIVES; THE CASE OF A STATE HOSPITAL

Özet

Araştırma, 2018 yılı Mayıs ve Haziran ayında Isparta Şehit Yunus Emre Devlet Hastanesindegerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında, hastane üst düzey yöneticileri dahil olmak üzere farklı uzmanlıkalanlarından toplam 15 dijital hastane uygulamaları kullanıcısı çalışan ile nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak;dijital hastane sisteminin önceki sisteme göre avantaj ve dezavantajlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla görüşmeleryapılmış ve görüşmeler değerlendirme kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; dijital hastane uygulamalarıile sağlık hizmeti sunumu açısından hastanenin prestij ve güvenilirliğinin artması, hızlı ve güvenilir işlemyapılması, hasta kayıtlarına ulaşılabilirliğin artması, hasta takibinin sistemli ve hızlı bir şekilde ilerlemesi,yanlış ilaç kullanımının önlenmesi ile hasta güvenliğinin sağlanmasına katkıda bulunulması, ilaç israfınınönlenmesi ve genel yönetim maliyetlerinin düşürülmesi sistemin başlıca avantajları olarak tespit edilmiştir.Bununla birlikte, hasta bilgilerinin muhafazası açısından sisteme dışarıdan müdahale edilebileceği ve budurumun bir güvenlik problemine yol açabileceği, teknik alt yapının hasta sayısının ve tıbbi uygulamalarınartışına paralel olarak güçlendirilmemesi ve kullanıcı sağlık çalışanlarının eğitimlerinin yetersiz olmasındandolayı sistemsel kullanım sorunlarının yaşanması; kullanıcılar açısından ifade edilen sistemin dezavantajlarıolarak tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

Study was carried out in Isparta Şehit Yunus Emre State Hospital in May and June 2018. Within the scope of the study, interviews were held with a total of 15 employees who are the users of digital hospital applications from different areas of specialization including senior managers of the hospital using qualitative research method to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the digital hospital system compared to the previous system, and interviews were included in the evaluation. As a result of the study, increased prestige and reliability of the hospital in terms of digital hospital practices and health care delivery, fast and reliable operation, increased availability of patient records, systematic and rapid progression of patient follow-up, the prevention of wrong drug use, contribution to ensuring patient safety, the prevention of drug waste, and the reduction of overall management costs were determined to as the main advantages of the system. Nevertheless, the fact that the system can be intervened from the outside in terms of the storage of patient information, which may lead to a security problem, and the presence of systemic usage problems due to the fact that the technical infrastructure is not strengthened in parallel with the increase in the number of patients and medical practices and due to insufficient education of user healthcare workers were determined as the disadvantages of the system expressed in terms of users.
