Özet
Endüstri 4.0’ın etkileriyle bilişim sistemlerinin verileri kaydetme ve işleme gibi fonksiyonları; bilgiyi anlama veyorumlama ve otonom karar verme gibi fonksiyonlara dönüşmüştür. Üretim alanındaki bu dönüşüm eğilimi;enerji, eğitim, sağlık gibi bilişim sistemlerinin kullanıldığı her alanda hızla uygulanmaya başlamıştır. Bilgiyiüreten, kullanan ve yaygınlaştırmayı amaç edinen üniversiteler de Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı’nınbaşlattığı dijital dönüşüm projesi ile bu akımda yer almaya başlamıştır. Üniversitelerin dijital dönüşümündesadece eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerinin yeni öğrenme yaklaşımlarıyla dijitalleştirilmesi değil, aynı zamanda tüm işsüreçlerinin, yazılım ve donanım altyapısının da bu yeni düzene uyarlanması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanınbirinci aşamasında uzaktan eğitim iş sürecinin yeniden yapılandırılma süreci incelenmiştir. Bunun için ÖğrenmeYönetim Sistemi (ÖYS)’nin yeniden yapılandırılarak Öğrenci Bilgi Sistemi (ÖBS) ile entegrasyonu anlatılmıştır.İkinci aşamada ise uzaktan eğitim uygulamaları ve ÖYS’nin kullanımı konusunda çevrimiçi bir anketuygulanarak öğrencilerin görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin ÖYS’den orta düzeyde,ÖYS ve ÖBS için tek kullanıcı hesabı kullanmaktan ise yüksek düzeyde memnun oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır.Ayrıca öğrencilerin ÖYS ile etkileşimlerini arttırarak uzaktan eğitimdeki motivasyonlarını arttıracak çeşitliöneriler sunulmuştur. Yapılan çalışmada, bir üniversitede dijital dönüşüm projesi yaklaşımıyla uzaktan eğitim işsürecinin iyileştirmesi ve sistemi kullanan tüm öğrencilerin görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi açısından literatüreyeni bir bakış açısı kazandırmak amaçlanmıştır
Abstract
Functions of information systems such as data recording and processing with the effects of Industry 4.0; it has been transformed into functions such as understanding and interpreting information and autonomous decision making. This transformation trend in the field of production; It has begun to be applied rapidly in all areas where information systems such as energy, education and health are used. The universities that produce, use and disseminate information have started to take part in this trend with the digital transformation project initiated by the Council of Higher Education. In the digital transformation of universities, it is not only necessary to digitize the educational activities with new learning approaches, but also to adapt all business processes, software and hardware infrastructure to this new order. In the first stage of this study, the process of restructuring the distance education business process was examined. For this, the integration of the Learning Management System (LMS) with the Student Information System (SIS) has been explained. In the second stage, an online questionnaire on distance education applications and the use of LMS was applied to examine students' opinions. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the students were moderately satisfied with the LMS and a high level of satisfaction with using a single user account for LMS and SIS. In addition, various suggestions were offered to increase the motivation of students in distance education by increasing their interaction with the LMS. In this study, it is aimed to give a new perspective to the literature in terms of improving the distance education business process and evaluating the views of all students using the system with a digital transformation project approach at a university.
