Firearm wounds are one of the main topics in forensic medicine. However, olfactory nerve lesion due to these types of injuries is rarely seen. In this study, we aimed to report a case with loss of olfactory nerve due to being injured by pellet of shotgun. Our case was a 31-year old male. There were damages due to pellets of shotgun in head, neck and chest regions in physical examination. Presence of a pellet in the left anterior fossa was determined on a CT scan.
