Özet
Multiple primer akciğer kanserleri nadir görülmektedir. Sunduğumuz olgu iki taraflı eş zamanlı primer akciğer kanseri olgusudur. Tümörün tanı konulduğu anda herhangi bir mediastinal yayılımı ve uzak metastazı yoktu. Her iki tümöre de radikal rezeksiyon yapıldı. Histopatolojik incelemede yassı epitel karsinomu saptandı. Evreleri Ia ve Ib olarak değerlendirildi. Hasta 28 ayını doldurdu ve herhangi tümoral gelişime rastlanmadı. Bu hastaların radikal rezeksiyon sonrası yaşam süreleri, metastatik lezyon olan hastalara göre daha uzundur. Bu nedenle multiple lezyonlarda primer veya metastaz ayrımı çok önemlidir.
Abstract
Multiple primary bronchogenic carcinomas are rare. We report a case of bilateral synchronous lung cancer. At the diagnoses, there was no distant metastases and mediastinal involvement. Both tumors were performed radical resection. Histologically, right and left sided tumors were squamous cell carcinoma and their stages were Ia and Ib, respectively. The patient had neither recurrence nor metastasis two years after the operation. The presented case emphasizes that because survival for patients with synchronous lung cancer is significantly better than those of metastatic tumors, distinction of metastases from primary tumor is critical.
