Özet
Çalışmada Kazakistan\\\'daki dille ilgili yasa koyuculuk kronolojik biçimde verilmekte, ülkede dil politikasını belirleyen etkenlerle dil politikasının yürütülme şekli değerlendirilmektedir. Devlet dili statüsünü yıllar önce kazanmış olan Kazakça uzun yıllar Rusçanın yükseköğretim dili, prestij dili olduğu Kazakistan\\\'da kendisine tanınmış işlevleri ne derece yerine getirdiği üzerinde durulmaktadır.
Abstract
This study is an evaluation of the history of language policy and legislation in the Republic of Kazakhistan in a chronological format. Additionally, it includes the factors that determine the language policy and the conduct of language policy in the country. We also focus on language functions of Kazakh language, which gained a new status as a state language a few years ago in the country, where Russian was the language of higher education and the language of prestige for many years.
