Rektum yabancı cisimlerine yaklaşım

Özet

1992-1997 yılları arasında Ankara Numune Hastanesi Acil Cerrahi Servisine rektumda yabancı cisim ile başvuran 7 olgu incelenmiştir. Cismin çıkarılması için 1 olguda hafif sedasyon yeterli olurken, 6 olguya ameliyathanede genel anestezi ile girişim yapılmıştır. Tüm olgularda cisimler kolon açılmadan anal yoldan dışarı alınmış, ancak 2 olguda laparotomi gerekli olmuştur. Girişim sonrası olgular mukozal laserasyon veya perforasyon açısından proktoskopi ile kontrol edilmiştir. Hastaların hiçbirinde yapılan işleme bağlı komplikasyon gelişmemiştir.Laporatomisiz olgular 24 saat gözlemde tutulmuş, laporatomili olgular ise ortalama 5. gün hastaneden çıkarılmıştır.

Abstract

Seven patients who had been admitted to the Emergency Department of Ankara Numune Hospital between 1992-1997 with foreign bodies in the rectum we reviewed. Six of them required general anesthesia while in one case mild sedation was adequate for the removal. Two patients underwent laparotomy but all objects could be retrieved transanally without colotomy. Proctoscopy was performed after extraction to assess mucosal injury or perforation. None of the patients developed complications after removal of the objects. Patients without laparotomy were kept in hospital for 24 hours while others were discharged on an average of five days after surgery.
