Özet

Karaciğer Echinococcus alveolaris'i Echinococcus multilokularis larvalarının karaciğer içinde büyümesi sonucunda gelişen bir hastalıktır. Echinococcus granu-losus'un neden olduğu kist hidatiğe göre nadir görülen bir hastalıktır. Biz sarılık ve portal hipertansiyon ile or¬taya çıkan bir Echinococcus alveolaris olgusu sunuyo¬ruz. Ultrasonografi ve bilgisayarlı tomografi ile infiltra-tif solid tümör saptanan ve perkütan karaciğer biyopsisi ile Echinococcus alveolaris tanısı koyduğumuz ve biliyer drenajı sağlamak için biliyoenterik by-pass uygu¬ladığımız olgunun eşliğinde bu hastalığın teşhis ve teda¬visi tartışıldı.

Abstract

Alveolar echinococcosis of the liver is a disease caused by the intrahepatic growth of Echinococcus mul-tilocularis larvae. In contrast to hydatidic cyst caused by Echinococcus granulosus , this is a rare disease. We pre¬sent a case of alveolar echinococcosis' of the liver which presented with jaundice and portal hypertension. An in-filtrative solid tumor was diagnosed by ultrasonography and computerized tomography. Then percutaneous liver biopsy revealed Echinococcus alveolaris disease.The pa¬tient required bilioenteric by-pass. Diagnosis and treat¬ment of this disease are discussed.
