TYİH Gastroenteroloji Cerrahisi Kliniği'nde 1990 Mart 1996 Mart tarihleri arasında kolesistektomi yapı¬lan ve ksantogranülomatöz kolesistit tanısı konulan 16 olgu çalışma^ kapsamına alındı. 16 olgunun 10'u erkek, 6'sı kadın olup yaş ortalaması 51 olarak bulundu. Oniki olguda akut kolesistit mevcut iâi. Üç olguda ksantogra-nülomatöz kolesistit ile birlikte safra kesesi kanseri sap¬tandı. Yapısı ve morfolojik görüntüsü ile safra kesesi kanserleri ile karışması bu lezyonun önemini ortaya koy¬maktadır.
Abstract
Sixteen xanthogranulomatous cholecytitis ca¬ses who were followed at Gastrointestinal Surgery Unit of Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hospital between the years of 1990 March-1996 March were included in the study. The age of the patients varied between 34 and 67 with an ave¬rage of 51. Ten patients were male and 6 were female. Twelve patients suffered from acute cholecystitis. In three patients xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis coexisted with gallbladder carcinome.
