Lipid peroxidation and antioxidant enzymes of blood in patients with chronic nonhealing stomach ulcer treated with actovegin and lipostabil

Özet
Mide ülseri ve 87 hastada yapılan çalışma eritrosit anti-oksidan enzim inhibisyonu ve lipid peroksidasyon ürünlerinde artış olduğunu göstermiştir. Tedavi içinde yeralan actovegin ve lipostabil bu hastaların iyileşme hızını hipoksinin iyileştirilmesi, lipid peroksidasyonunun inhibisyonu ve antioksidan enzimlerin stimulasyonu ile artırmaktadırlar.
Abstract
This clinical investigation carried out on 87 patients with indolent gastric ulcer, revealed a significant increase in lipid peroxidation rate and inhibition of antioxidant enzymes in blood erythrocytes. Actovegin and lipostabil, included in the complex therapy, allowed a rise in treatment efficacy of patients with indolent ulcer through resolution of general hypoxic condition, lipid peroxidation inhibition and stimulation of antioxidant enzymes.
