Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)’n›n Açlık, Beslenme, Parazitleme ve Yafll›l›k Durumlar›nda Glikojen Seviyesindeki Değişmeler

Özet
Bu çal›flmada, biyolojik mücadele ajan› bir böcek olan Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)’n›n ergin diflilerinde açl›k, beslenme, yafll›l›k ve parazitlemenin glikojen seviyelerine etkileri araflt›r›ld›. Böceklerde önemli bir enerji deposu olan glikojenin P.turionellae’n›n diflilerinde %30’luk bal ile beslenmeye ba¤l› olarak artt›¤›, açl›k, yafllanma ve parazitleme durumlar›nda ise azald›¤› saptand›. Böce¤in glikojen seviyesi ile konak puplar›na b›rakt›¤› yumurta say›s› aras›nda do¤ru orant›l› bir iliflki oldu¤u belirlendi.
Abstract
The changes in glycogen levels depending on starvation, feeding, aging and parasitisation in the mature female of Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), which is a biological control agent, have been observed. Glycogen level, which is a major energy source in insects, increased when the females of P.turionellae are fed with 30% honey, but it decreased depending on aging, starvation and parasitism. There was a positive relationship between the glycogen level of an insect and the number of its eggs laid within the host pupae.
