Özet
Malzeme-teknik-süsleme açısından Türk İslam el sanatlarının önemli örneklerinden olan tarikat eşyaları gerek kullanım kaynakları gerekse fiziki bölümleri ve süslemeleriyle sembolik açıdan da dikkat çeken eserlerdir. Bu eşyalarda yer alan bitkisel, geometrik, figür, yazı ve nesneli kompozisyonlardan oluşan süslemeler Türk İslam sanatında mimaride ve el sanatlarında görülen süslemelerle paralel olarak üretildikleri dönemin özelliklerini yansıtmakla birlikte bazı motifler İslam ve tasavvuf literatüründe sembolik dilin parçasıdır. Tarikat eşyalarının türleri, ifade ettikleri sembolizm farklı çalışmalarda yer bulmasına karşın bu eşyalardaki süslemelerin sembolik yönleri detaylı olarak incelenmemiştir. Bu makalede tarikat eşyalarındaki süslemelerden sembolik dile sahip olan motifler tespit edilerek bunların tasavvuf literatüründeki ifadeleri açıklanmış; böylece süsleme kompozisyonunu oluşturan motif, figür, yazı ve nesnelerin sanatçı tarafından bilinçli olarak tercih edilmesi hususu değerlendirilmiştir. Bitkisel süslemede servi, gül ve lale; geometrik motiflerden bedâhe olarak adlandırılan stilize geometrik motifler, Mühr-i Süleyman ve daire; figürlü süslemede ejder, kuş (turna-güvercin-kazdoğan), arı ve insan; nesneli süslemede tarikat eşyaları, el, mizan terazisi, Zülfikar, kadeh; yazılı süslemede pir isimleri, ayetler, tasavvuf literatürüne ait ortak bazı tabirler sembolik dil yansıtmaları bakımından önemlidir.
