Özet

Amaç: Araştırma akciğer kanser cerrahisi geçiren ve adjuvan kemo terapi alan hastaların yaşam kalitesi ve sosyal destek düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı nitelikte olan bu araştırma ameliyat olan ve adjuvan kemoterapi alan 150 hastayla gerçekleşti rildi. Veriler Hasta Bilgi Formu, EORTC QLQ-C30 Yaşam Kalitesi ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek ölçeği kullanılarak toplan dı. Bulgular: Hastaların Genel İyilik Hali puan ortalamasının 45.22±18.28, Fonksiyonel skalada en yüksek puanın Bilişsel Fonk siyon, Semptom skalasında ise en yüksek puanın yorgunluk, dispne ve iştah kaybı olduğu bulundu. Sosyal Destek Ölçeği puanının 41.37±14.24 olduğu, ölçeğin alt boyutlarından en yüksek puanı Aile boyutundan, en düşük puanı ise Özel İnsan boyutundan alındığı belirlendi. Algılanan genel sosyal destek düzeyi ve genel iyilik hali arasında yüksek, pozitif yönlü (r = 0.72; p = 0.000) anlamlı ilişki saptandı. Sonuç: Çalışmada hastaların yaşam kalitesi ve algılanan sosyal desteğinin orta düzeyde olduğu dikkat çekmektedir.

Abstract

Aim: The study aimed to evaluate the quality of life and social sup port levels of patients who underwent lung cancer surgery and ad juvant chemotherapy. Method: This descriptive and relationship-seeking study was car ried out with 150 patients undergoing surgery and adjuvant che motherapy. The data was collected by using the patient information form, the EORTC QLQ-C30 Quality of Life Scale, and the Multidi mensional Perceived Social Support Scale. Results: The mean score of the General Well-Being of the patients was 45.22 ± 18.28, the highest score on the Functional scale was Cognitive Function, and the highest score on the Symptom scale was fatigue, dyspnea and loss of appetite. The mean score of the Social Support Scale was 41.37 ± 14.24, the highest score among the sub-dimensions of the scale was the Family dimension and the lowest score was the Special Human dimension. There was a high, positive (r = 0.72; p = 0.000) significant correlation between per ceived General Social Support level and General Well-Being. (r = 0.72; p = 0.000). Conclusion: It was determined in the study that the quality of life of the patients and perceived social support were at a medium level.
