The influence of sublimated aluminium films on the properties of real $Cd_xHg_{1-x}Te$ surface

The electron properties of the Al — $Cd_xHg_{1-x}Te$ interface have been studied using conventional C — V, I — V measurements, spectral dependece of the photoconductivity, capacitor photolocomitive force and the photoelectromagnetic effect. A significant change of the spectral dependence of photoconductivity and the surface lifetime of charge carriers in $Cd_xHg_{1-x}Te$ samples covered by aluminium films has been revealed. The results obtained were interpreted by the influence of space charge region (SCR) on the photoconductivity.
