Temperature dependence of liquefaction heat for refractory metals

Liquefaction-heat dependence of melting temperature has been investigated for refractory metals. The ratio between liquefaction-heat and temperature was found to be 2.27 ± 0.04 and -2.32 ± 0.03 cal/mole.K for body- centered cubic (bcc) and face-centered cubic (fee) metals, respectively.
