A Patient Diagnosed with Kounis Syndrome due to the Metoclopramide: A Case Report

Özet

Bu olgu sunumunda, 23 yaşındaki, bilinen herhangi bir kronik hastalığı veya daha önce geçirilmiş allerjik reaksiyon yada anaflaktik reaksiyon öyküsü olmayan ve şiddetli bulantı nedeniyle acil servise başvuran 14 haftalık hamile bir bayanhastada, antiemetik olarak uygulanan metoklopramide bağlı olarak gelişen anaflaktik reaksiyon sonrası başlayan göğüsağrısı olması nedeniyle tanı konulan vazospastik anginal form Kounis sendromundan bahsedilmiştir. Kliniğimizdeizleme alınan fizik muayenesi ve klinik bulguları normale dönen hasta, tedavisiz altı ay aralıklarla takibe alındıktansonra, ilk poliklinik takibinde, fizik muayenesi ve yapılan tetkikleri normal saptanmıştır. Şu anda, hastanın ilkbaşvurusundan itibaren yaklaşık sekiz ay geçmiş olup ve poliklinik takibi devam etmektedir.

Abstract

In this case report, we mentioned that; a 23 years old and 14 week pregnant woman with no history of anaphylactic or allergic reaction and chronical disease admitted to the emergency department for severe nausea, diagnosed with the vasospastic anginal form of the Kounis syndrome because of the chest pain starting after anaphylactic reaction. We followed the patient with normal physical examination and clinical findings at intervals of six months without treatment. Following the first outpatient clinic, the physical examination and the laboratory tests were normal. At this time, approximately eight months have passed since the patient’s first application and the follow-up to the outpatient clinic is ongoing.
