ÇANAKKALE ŞEHİTLER ABİDESİ PEYZAJ PLANLAMA ve TASARIMINDA YENİ BİR YAKLAŞIM

A NEW APPROACH TO LANDSCAPE PLANNING AND DESIGN OF THE ÇANAKKALE MARTYRS MONUMENT

Özet

Pek çok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmiş Çanakkale, tarihi, kültürel, ekonomik vebeşeri açidan her dönem önemini ve güncelliğini canli tutabilmiştir. Bu nedenle kentin nüfuspotansiyelinde dönem dönem artişlar görülebilmektedir. Bu konuda Tarihi GeliboluYarimadasi’nin batisinda yer alan Şehitler Abidesi, ziyaretçi çeşitliliği ve miktarinin fazlaolmasi ile dikkat çekicidir. Ancak alanda yeterli peyzaj donatilarina yer verilmemesi kisasüreli ziyaretleri de zorunlu kilmaktadir. Oysa, yaz aylarinda yerli ve yabanci geniş bir kitleyihedef alan bu donatilar, ziyaret sürelerinin artişiyla rekreasyonel ve manevi açidan dahatatmin edici bir süreci ziyaretçiler için mümkün kilabilecektir. Bunun için alanin fizikselboyutunun yeni planlama ve tasarimlarla desteklenmesi öne çikmaktadir. Doğal peyzaja sahipAbide donatisina açik ve kapali seyir teraslari kazandirma öneri tasarisi bu noktadaçalişmanin temelini oluşturmaktadir. Öneri tasari alani, Tören Alani’yla sinirli, yaklaşik 45dönümlük Şehitler Abidesi yerleşkesinden ibarettir. Öneri tasari kapsamindaki uygulamalar;aşamali olarak istinat duvari yapimi, açik ve kapali seyir terasi platformlarinin vekonstrüksiyonlarinin inşasi, pergola yapi elemanlarinin tesisi, bölge ekolojisi ve işlevselözellikleri temelinde ağaç, çali ve yer örtücü olarak tespit edilen süs bitkilerinin dikimi gibiişlemlerden oluşmaktadir. Öneri tasarinin gerçekleşmesi ile özellikle ziyaret süresinde artişsağlanmasi, buna bağli olarak da kent ve bölge ekonomisi dinamiklerinin ivme kazanmasiöngörülmektedir. Ayrica alana daha zengin peyzaj donatilarinin kazandirilmasi, estetikgörünümünün yani sira hedef kitlenin potansiyelinde ve manevi kazancinda da artişsağlayacaktir. Tüm bunlara bağli olarak tanimlanan öneri tasarinin, Şehitler Abidesilokalizasyonunda bölgeye ve ziyaretçilere tarihi, sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik açidan dahafaydaci olmasi planlanmaktadir.

Abstract

Çanakkale, which has been home to many civilizations, has been able to keep alive its importance and its timeliness in historical, cultural, economic and human terms in every period. For this reason, the population potential of the city can see period-by-period increases. The monument of martyrs, located west of the historical Gallipoli Peninsula, is remarkable.for its diversity and quantity of visitors. However, the lack of enough landscaping equipment in the area makes the visit time short. This equipment, which targets a wide mass of locals and foreigners, especially in the process the summer months, will be able to make a more satisfying process for visitors from a recreational and spiritual point of view with the increase of visiting times. Therefore, it is seen that the physical dimension of the space needs to be supported by new planning and designs. The aim of this study is to gain open and closed watching terraces to Monument equipment with natural landscape at this point. Recommendation project space, it consists of about 45 acres of Martyrs Monument localization, including a ceremonial space. Applications within the scope of the project; as gradual, consists of operations such as, construction of retaining wall, construction of open and closed watching terrace platforms and constructions, establishment of pergola building elements, planting of ornamental plants identified as trees, shrubs and ground cover on the basis of regional ecology and functional characteristics. Therefore, With the realization of the project, it is envisaged that there will be an increase in the visiting potential and duration, and accordingly the dynamics of the city and the region economy will gain momentum. Likewise, the acquisition of richer landscaping equipment at the field as well as its aesthetic appearance will also amplify the potential and spiritual profit of target mass. All at this as depending of the project recommendation in the location of Martyrs Monument it is planned to be more utilitarian to the region and visitors from a historical, social, cultural and economic perspective.
