Abstract
Lungs are the most frequently involved organ for metastases of many cancers and most of the times the treatment modalities are very limited. We reported two cases with primary urological tumors (case one with renal cell carcinoma and case two with seminoma) who also had solitary pulmonary lesions. The lesion in the case one was resected at the same time with left radical nephrectomy and pathological examination revealed a chondroid hamartoma. In the second case, the lesion was resected after a full course of chemotherapy that led to disappearance of retroperitoneal mass but not of pulmonary lesion. The pathologic examination showed a benign lesion (cyst hydatid). These findings showed that some patients may be retrieved from unnecessary surgery as in case two and still be a treatment for other patients as in case one.
