MESLEKLER ÜZERİNE KISA BİR DENEME

Özet

Mesleklerin toplumsal sistem içerisindeki yeri ve işlevine ilişkin özellikle sosyoloji alanında önemli tartışmalar yürütülmektedir. Bu makalede yürütülen tartışmaların sermaye sınıfının siyasal hegemonyası tesisi sürecindeki rolü üzerinde durulacaktır. Mesleklere toplumsal süreçleri anlamanın ve açıklamanın temel öğesi olarak yer vermenin, sınıftan kaçış anlamına gelerek kapitalizm eleştirisine son vermeye uzanacağı gösterilmeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract

There are significant discussions particularly in the discipline of sociology regarding the status and functions of occupations in a social system. The article specifically focuses on the role of on-going debates in the establishment of political hegemony of capitalist class. It tries to show that adopting occupations as the basic element in understanding and explaining social processes will mean retreat from class and eventually abandoning the critique of capitalism.
