Abstract
This article describes the types of discrimination, the social groups who are the components of discrimination, the legitimization ideology and material and social foundations. Then focuses the inequalities emerged from discriminative policies and implementations and how the health consequences are surveyed with direct and indirect methods. The responsibility of researchers in the field of Public Health is highlighted
