TOPLUM RUH SAĞLIĞINDA SOSYAL HİZMET UYGULAMALARI

Özet

Bu makalede multi-disipliner yaklaşımla çalışmaların yürütüldüğü toplum ruh sağlığı alanında yer alan meslek gruplarından sosyal hizmetuzmanlarının temel yaklaşım ve uygulamalarının görünür kılınması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç, sosyal hizmet alanındaki literatür taramasınınyanında, ruh sağlığı ile ilgili yasal düzenlemeler ve geliştirilen hizmet modelleri bağlamında derleme çalışması ile ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada,ruh sağlığı sorunlarının bireysel, sosyal, ekonomik, yapısal ve politik etkilerine ve sonuçlarına yönelik çok boyutlu çalışmalar, sosyal hizmetuzmanlarının sosyal model yaklaşımı ile irdelenmiştir. Ruh sağlığı alanındaki koruyucu, önleyici, iyileştirici, geliştirici ve güçlendirmeuygulamalarında sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının rol ve sorumlulukları tartışılmıştır. Bunu yaparken toplum temelli ruh sağlığı hizmetlerininyapılanması ve bu yapılanma içerisinde sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının durumu hakkında bir çerçeve sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonuçbölümünde ise özellikle toplum ruh sağlığı alanında multi-disipliner çalışmalar kapsamında önerilere yer verilmiştir.

Abstract

In this article, it is aimed to bring into view the basic approaches and practices of the social workers among the professionals in the field of community mental health with the multidisciplinary approach. This aim has been addressed by reviewing the social work in community mental health literature, legal regulations and developed service models. In this study, multi-dimensional studies of social workers about the individual, social, economic, structural and political eff ects and consequences of mental health problems are explained with the social model approach. In addition, the roles and responsibilities of social workers are discussed within the scope of protective, preventative, remedial, development and empowerment practices in the field of community mental health. In all these processes, the construction of community-based mental health services and the situation of social workers in this construction is revealed. In the conclusion part of the study, suggestions are presented within the scope of multidisciplinary studies, especially in the field of community mental health.
