AKP'nin çözüm politikasında dinin rolü: Uzlaştırıcı mı? Kurucu mu?

Özet

Bu makalede AKPnin Kürt meselesinin çözüm sürecinde dini nasıl kullandığı incelenmektedir. Bu inceleme dinin çözüm süreçlerindeki rolü ve ulus inşasındaki rolü olmak üzere iki sac ayağına dayanmaktadır. Makalenin iddiası AKPnin İslâmı çözüm sürecinde bir uzlaşma aracı olarak kabul ettiği, ancak bu aracı İslâmın kurucu unsur olduğu yeni bir ulus inşa projesinin içinde etkinleştirdiğidir. Bu politika da çözüm sürecinde dinin kullanımını farklılaştırmakta ve AKPnin dini asıl olarak ulus inşa sürecinin bir parçası olarak gördüğünü göstermektedir.

Abstract

This article investigates how the AKP government uses religion during the resolution process of the Kurdish issue. This examination is based on two pillars: the role of religion in conflict resolution and its role in nation-building processes. The hypothesis of the article is that although the AKP embraces Islam as a reconciliation tool, it applies this tool under the project of a new nation-building in which Islam has a founding role. This policy differentiates the use of religion from similar cases and displays that AKP accepted religion mainly as part of a nation-building process.
