Özet

Generally it is accepted that the II World War is the beginning of the globalisation movements. In this paper, it is argued that globalisation movement should be examined in such a time horizon covering the East-West trade during the emperior era. The purpose of this study is to examine the historical development of globalisation as well as to form a better foundation for evaluating globalisation in terms of fiscal developments.
