A virus immünglobulin M (anti-HAV IgM) pozitifliğinin devam etmesi şeklinde viral hepatit A tablosunda yenileme gösterebilmektedirler. Bu vaka nedeniyle nadir görülen Denys-Drash sendromunun gözden geçirilmesi ve eşlik eden hepatit A enfeksiyonunun seyrindeki farklılığa dikkatlerin çekilmesi istenmiştir.

Abstract

Denys-Drash syndrome is characterised with nephrophaty, ambiguous genitalia and Wilms’ tumor and nephrotic syndrome and chronic renal failure can be developed in the first two or three years of life. Recurrent hepatitis A infection which determined as increament of serum transaminases and the continuation of hepatitis A virus immunoglobuline M positivity in 4-16 weeks after the clinical and biyochemical remision, can occur in 3-20% of patients with Hepatitis A infection. With this report, we reevaluated the Denys-Drash syndrome and showed the difference of the clinical progresion in hepatitis A infection associated with this syndrome.
