Özet
Ülkemizin büyük bir kısmının deprem kuşağında olması ve son beş yılda yaşamış olduğumuz depremler, yapı tasarımında gelişimi zorunlu kılmaktadır. Yapı tasarımında amaç, deprem esnasında, can kaybının olmamasını sağlamaktır. Bir yapı ömrü içerisinde; çok sık oluşabilecek hafif şiddetli depremlerde hiç hasar görmemelidir, orta şiddetli depremlerde taşıyıcı sistem hasar görmemelidir, şiddetli depremlerde ise taşıyıcı sistem zarar görebilir ancak yapı kesinlikle göçmemelidir. Yapılara gelebilecek deprem kuvvetleri, zemin sınıfına, bölge deprem ivmelerine ve yapı türüne bağlı olarak değişir. Bununla beraber 1997 yılında yürürlüğe giren Afet Bölgelerinde Yapılacak Yapılar Hakkında Yönetmelik (AFYYHY), I. Bölgede 0,40g, II.
Abstract
Since the majority of our country's lands is in earthquake section and the earthquakes that we have encountered in the last 5 years necessitate structure design to be improved. The purpose in structure design is to prevent life loss in an earthquake. A structure should not have any damage in light intensity earthquakes, its load-bearing system should not have any damage in a middle intensity earthquake and in a high intensity earthquake, load bearing system of the structure can have some damage but should not cave in its life span. Earthquake forces that act on structures change according to the soil class, earthquake acceleration of the region and type of structure. In addition to this, regulation about structures to be built in disaster zones which have been valid since 1997, determines the'minimum acceleration level as 0,40 g in I. Zone, 0,30 g in II. Zone, 0,20 g in III. Zone and 0,10 IV. Zone. However, these minimum acceleration levels were exceeded in the earthquakes that we encountered in 1999. In this study, 4 and 8 floor structures having local soil class were used. The earthquake acceleration levels that act on these structures have been taken into consideration with 0,05 increase from 0,05 g to 0,80 g and horizontal earthquake forces that the acceleration levels created in structures have been investigated.
