Bir İdeolog Bir İdeoloji: Recep Peker ve Korporatizm

Özet

Türk siyasal hayatında, özellikle tek parti döneminde oldukça etkili olmuş Kemalist bir ideolog olan Recep Peker’in görüşleri, kanımızca, rejimin niteliği ile ilgili tartışmalara önemli teorik açılımlar sunma potansiyeli barındırmaktadır. Bu tartışmaya yönelik olarak kimi çevrelerce, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin korporatist bir nitelik taşıdığı çeşitli biçimlerde dile getirilmiştir. Peker’in yazmış olduğu makaleler ve üniversitede vermiş olduğu dersler korporatizm ideolojisi ekseninde değerlendirilecek olursa, tek parti döneminin önemli ideologlarından biri olarak onun korporatizme teorik düzlemde oldukça yakın eğilimler taşıdığını söylemek mümkün görünmektedir.

Abstract

As a Kemalist ideologist, Recep Peker’s views, which were influential especially during the single- party period in Turkish political history, embody the potential of introducing theoretical developments to debates on the nature of the regime. With respect to such debates, some circles voiced the idea that the Republic of Turkey is of a corporatist nature. Analyzing the articles written in this context or the courses given by Peker within the context of corporatism, it can be asserted that as one of the leading ideologists of the single-party period, Peker was remarkably close to corporatism in the theoretical aspect.
