Çankırı Fatihi Karatekin'in Türbesi

Özet

Bu makalede Çankırı’yı fetheden Emir Karatekin’in Çankırı Kalesi’ndeki Türbesi incelenmektedir. Bugüne değişerek gelebilen Türbenin orijinal hali ile ilgili restitüsyona gidilirken, Emir Karatekin’in kimliği, Türbenin yapıldığı siyasal ortam, zamanımıza kadar geçirdiği onarım ve değişiklikler, günümüze ulaşabilen bilgi ve belgeler ışığında ele alınmakta, yapının Türk Mimarlık Tarihindeki yeri irdelenmektedir.

Abstract

This article focuses on the Turbeh (Tomb) of Emir Karatekin, the conqueror of Çankırı. The Turbeh, located in the castle of Çankırı, is currently being restored to its original shape. This article makes use of extant information and documents in order to describe Emir Karatekin’s identity, the political context in which the Turbeh was built, and the repair and restoration processes that the Turbeh has gone through until today. The article also discusses the place of this construction in the history of Turkish Architecture.
