TÜRKİYE'DE ALTYAPI YATIRIMLARININ EKONOMİK BÜYÜME AÇISINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Özet

Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de altyapı yatırımları ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişki araştırılmaktadır. Gelişmişliğin bir göstergesi olan alt yapı çalışmalarının hemen her alanda yaygınlaştırılması gelişme yolunda Türkiye açısından büyük önem arz etmektedir. Aynı zamanda gelişmiş ülkelerin alt yapılarının sağlam olması kadar sürdürülebilir olması da bir o kadar önemlidir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada sırasıyla önce Türkiye'nin alt yapı sorunlarına, mevcut alt yapı durumuna, altyapıyla ilgili değişim ve gelişmelere yer verilmiş; sonra 19982015 yılları arasında gerçekleşen altyapı yatırımları ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkinin ampirik analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda belirlenen dönem için Türkiye'de alt yapı harcamaları ile ekonomik büyüme (GSYH) arasında güçlü bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the relationship between infrastructure investments and economic growth in Turkey. The extension of infrastructure studies, which is a indicator of development, to almost every area is of great importance for Turkey in terms of development. At the same time, it is equally important that the developed countries have as sustainable infrastructure as their infrastructure. In this context, firstly the changes and developments related to the infrastructural problems of Turkey, the existing infrastructure and the infrastructure have been mentioned respectively. Then an empirical analysis of the relationship between infrastructure investments and economic growth took place between 1998 and 2015. As a result of the study, it is concluded that there is a strong relationship between infrastructure expenditures and economic growth (GDP) in Turkey for the determined period.
