As highly hydrophilic basic compounds, amines are an important part of the earth's nitrogen cycle and closelyrelated to human health. In this study, a few major low molecular weight alkyl aminium species, includingmethylaminium (MA), dimethylaminium (DMA) and ethylaminium (EA) in Yangzhou urban aerosols from Aprilto November 2016 were measured and their mean concentrations in aerosols were determined to be1.418 ± 1.341, 3.623 ± 3.941 and 12.576 ± 10.446 ng/m3, respectively, with higher concentrations inSpring. The total mass percentage of three aminium species to water-soluble organic nitrogen (WSON) were0.01–5.74% and fraction of EA was highest (0.01–5.02%). The air mass trajectory and potential source con-tribution analyses indicate that the source of amines in Yangzhou aerosols was mainly from oceans and sur-rounding provinces, while the Yangtze River Delta region itself had relative little contribution.
