Çalışmada kuramsal çerçeve olarak dokuz temel basamak (problemin analizi, sistematik yapıyı kurma, matematikselleştirme, üst matematikselleştirme, matematiksel analiz, yorumlama, doğrulama, revize etme, raporlaştırma) ve dokuz temel bileşen (karmaşık gerçek yaşam durumu, gerçek yaşam problem durumu, gerçek yaşam problem durumunun modeli, yardımcı matematiksel model/ler, ana matematiksel model, matematiksel çözüm, gerçek yaşam çözümü, çözüm kararı, çözüm raporu) ile yapılandırılan teknoloji destekli matematiksel modelleme süreç modeli dikkate alınmıştır.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to sample how GeoGebra, an important tool in mathematics teaching in 21st century, can be used in mathematical modeling and its possible effects on the process within the framework of "Ladder Problem". In this study, technology-aided mathematical modeling, which is structured with nine steps (problem analysis, constructing a systematic structure, mathematization, metamathematization, mathematical analysis, interpretation, validation, revision, reporting) and nine components (complex real world situation, real world problem situation, model of real world problem situation, submathematical model/s, main mathematical model, mathematical solution, real world solution, solution decision, solution report), is considered as a theoretical framework. With this study, some explanations will be made about how students, mathematics teachers and prospective mathematics teachers can utilize mathematical modeling and GeoGebra in mathematics lessons.
