Özet
Pseudomonas aeruginosa sepsisi sağlıklı bebeklerde ve çocuklarda nadiren görülür. Yaygın olmamakla birlikte ektima gangrenozum gibi dermatolojik bulgular, Pseudomonas enfeksiyonunun ilk bulgusu olabilir ya da enfeksiyonun seyri sırasında ortaya çıkabilir. Burada daha öncesinde sağlıklı olan ve P. aeruginosa sepsisinin nadir bir komplikasyonu olarak görülen ektima gangrenozumlu altı aylık bir olgu sunulmuştur
Abstract
Pseudomonas aeruginosa septicemia is seen rarely in healthy infants and children. Dermatologic manifestations such as ecthyma gangrenosum, also not common, may be the first sign of Pseudomonas infection, or may appear later in the course of the disease. We report a previously healthy 6-month-old boy with ecthyma gangrenosum as a rare complication that can be seen in the course of P. aeruginosa sepsis.
