Özet
Osteomlar paranazal sinüslerin en sık görülen benign tümörleridir. Osteomlar genellikle yavaş büyüyen düzgün sınırlı lezyonlardır. En sık olarak frontal sinüste, daha az sıklıkla etmoid, nadiren de maksiller ve sfenoid sinüste görülürler. Osteomların büyük çoğunluğu erken dönemde asemptomatik olup genellikle radyolojik tetkik sırasında tesadüfi olarak,tespit edilirler. En sık görülen semptom yüz ağrısı olup diğer semptomlar nazal konjesyon, baş-ağrısı ,proptozis, diplopi, alında şişlik ve görme bozukluğudur. Semptomların mevcudiyetinde cerrahi gereklidir. Paranazal sinüs osteomlarının rezeksiyonunda bir çok farklı teknik tarif edilmiştir. Nazal endoskopik teknik ve teknolojisindeki gelişmeler sonucu olarak paranazal sinüs osteomlarının endoskopik rezeksiyonu mümkün olmuştur. Endonazal endoskopik yöntemle rezeke ettiğimiz bir frontoetmoid osteom olgusunun sunduk.
Abstract
Osteomas are the most common benign tumors ofparanasal, sinuses. Osteomas are generally well circumscribed discrete lesions that grow very slowly. They are most commonly seen in the frontal sinus, less frequently in the ethomoid, rarely in the maxillary and sphenoid sinuses. The majority of osteomas are asymptomatic at an early stage and are usually discovered incidentally on radigraphic examination. The most common symptoms are facial pain. The other symptoms are nasal congestion, headache, proptosis, diplopia, swelling of the forehead and vision changes. Surgery is indicated if symptoms are present. Several different techniques have been described resection of the osteomas of the paranasal sinuses. Because of advances in the techniques and technology in the nasal endoscopy, endoscopic management of sinus osteomas is feasible. We present a case ofendonasal endoscopic resection offrontoethmoid osteoma.
