Özet
Baş-boyun onkolojik cerrahisinden sonra oluşabilecek regionel nükslerin önlenmesinde operas¬yon sahasının yıkanması işleminin sayısının öneminin olup olmadığının saptanması için ameliyat bölgesi tümör çıkarıldıktan sonra 4 kez yıkanmış ve bu yıkama sularında sitosantrifüj yöntemi ile malign hücre aranmiştır. 3. yıkama suyunda saptanan malign hücre sayısının yüksek olması nedeniyle ameliyat sa¬hasının en az üç kez yıkanmasının gerekli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
Abstract
To evaluate the number of wound irrigation in the prevention of regional recurrences in the head-neck oncological surgery; wound was irrigated with warm saline for 4 times following tumor extir¬pation and malignant cells were investigated with cytospine technic in these washings. Since the amount of malignnat cells was high in the third washing, it was concluded that the wound must be irrigated at least 3 times.
