Edebiyatın felsefi temeli üzerine

Özet

Bu makalede edebiyatın ne olduğuna ilişkin sorudan yola çıkarak bir edebiyat felsefesi yapmanın imkânı ele alınmıştır. Edebiyat ile felsefe ilişkisinin edebî metinlere iki açıdan yaklaşımla açığa çıkarılabileceği söylenebilir. Bu iki açıdan birincisi dil felsefesi, ikincisi ise değer felsefesidir. Bu makalede edebiyatın dil ile ilgili felsefi temelinin yazarın dili yetkinleştirme çabasında; değerlerle ilgili felsefi temelinin ise, yazarın hakikat, iyilik ve güzellik değerlerine yöneliminde olduğu iddia edilmektedir. Burada felsefe ise insanın yetkinleşme çabası olarak ele alınmaktadır.

Abstract

In this article, the possibility of doing a philosophy of literature based on the question of what literature is has been discussed. It can be said that the relationship between literature and philosophy could be uncovered by two approaches to the literary texts. The first of these two approaches is the philosophy of language and the second is the axiology. It has been claimed in this article that the philosophical basis of the literature regarding language is at the struggle of the author to bring the language to perfection; and the philosophical basis of the literature regarding values is at the tendency of the author to the truth, goodness and beauty. Herein, the philosophy has been addressed as an effort for the perfection of human beings.
