Abstract
Heidegger considers phenomenology as a way to the meaning of Being. It is possible to say that the question of the meaning of Being that is the central theme of Heideggerrian philosophy was rooted in both Husserlian phenomenology and the term phenomenon rooted in the Greeks. Although it is seen generally within the phenomenological tradition, one cannot say that Heideggerian phenomenology has the same content with Husserlian phenomenology. By taking into account our intentionality, Heidegger took a step further from his mentor and moved the central interest of Husserlian phenomenology which functioned at epistemological level, from the meaning of consciousness to the meaning of Being. At this level, one can say that Heideggerian phenomenology becomes a form of thought that brings out the meaning of Being through the three levels of reduction, construction and destruction (Abbau)
