Bu yazının birisi olumsuz diğeri olumlu olmak üzere iki temel iddiası vardır: Birincisi, alışılagelen bilgi tanım ve teorileri ya kusurlu ya da yetersizdir. İkincisi, bilme sürecimiz, önceki teorilerin kusur ve yetersizliğinin ortadan kaldırıldığı yeni bir bilme teorisini mümkün kılmaktadır
Abstract
In this paper we make two fundamental claims, one negative and the other positive. First of these is that the known definitions and theories of knowledge are either defective or inadequate. The second claim is that attention to our knowing process may furnish us with the possibility of a new theory of knowledge in which the defects and the inadequacy of former theories are eliminated
