Özet
Bu çalışmada, cerrahi girişim öncesinde cilt temizliği için kullanılan, povidon-iyötun iki ayrı uygulama şekli karşılaştırılmıştır. Ürolojik nedenle ameliyat edilen 43 hastanın 22'sine püskürtme, 21 'ine klasik yöntemle cilt temizliği uygulandı. Hastalar postoperatif, ateş, yara infeksiyonu ve yara açılması yönünden karşılaştırıldı. İki yöntem arasında post-operatif komplikasyonlar açısından anlamlı fark saptanmadı.
Abstract
In this study, we compared the two different methods ofpovidone-iodine application used for skin disinfection before surgery. In a total of 43 patients ivho underwent surgery for urological indications skin disinfection was performed with the spraying method in 22 and with Hie classical scrubbing in 21 cases. The patients were compared with regard to postoperative fever, ivound infection and dehiscence. No significant difference between the two methods was observed.
