Nadir görülen bir testis tümörü: Hemanjiom

Özet

Hemanjiom çok sık rastlanan bir yumuşak doku tümörüdür. Ancak testis yerleşimi oldukça nadirdir. Biz bu sunumda bir testiküler hemanjiom olgusunu sunmayı amaçladık. Sağ testiste kitle ve ağrı şikayeti ile gelen 13 yaşındaki hastanın fizik muayenesinde testis ve epididimis arasında yerleşmiş sert bir kitle tespit edildi. Serum b- HCG ve AFP düzeyleri normal olan hastanın ultrasonografisinde (US) testis ve epididimis arasına yerleşmiş 10 x 8 mm ebatlı, düzgün sınırlı, hipoekoik lezyon alanı izlendi. Çıkarılan dokunun patoloji değerlendirmesi sonucu hemanjiom olduğu öğrenildi. Testis kitlelerinde ayırıcı tanıda germ hücreli, stromal, sex cord gibi tümörlerin yanında hemanjiom da düşünülmelidir. Ayırıcı tanının net olarak yapılmasının ve tedavinin ancak eksplorasyonu takiben yapılacak patolojik incelemeyle mümkün olacağı kanaatindeyiz.

Abstract

Hemangioma is a common soft tissue tumor. However, it is rarely localized in testicular area. With this report, we aimed to present a testicular hemangioma case. A 13 years-old male presented with pain and solid mass in his right testis. The mass was localised between right testis and epididymis. His serum b-HCG and a-Fetoprotein levels were normal. The scrotal ultrasounography showed a 10x8 mm sized, regular and hypoechoic lesion. The pathological examination of the excised tissue revealed hemangioma. In differential diagnosis of testicular tumors, hemangiomas should be one of the diagnosises besides germ cell tumors, stromal tumors and sex cord tumors. We believe that the exact differential diagnosis and treatment of a mass warrants a careful patological examination following exploration if it is localised around testicular area.
