Abstract
In this study, the theoritical framework of the critical reading and its importancewill be discussed. The differences between the terms criticism and critical reading willbe emphasized. The four basic terms that are required for critical reading, the qualitiesof critical reader and the factors that prevent critical reading will be examined.
