Özet

Progresif musküler distrofi (PMD) genellikle çocukluk çağında başlangıç gösteren kalıtsal ve ilerleyici bir hastalıktır. Bu hastalıkta ekstremitelerdeki sekellerin düzeltilmesi için sık cerrahi müdahale gerekebilmektedir. Diğer kas hastalıklarında olduğu gibi PMD’de de artmış malign hipertermi (MH) riski vardır. Biz, bu olguda genel anestezi ile ameliyatı planlanan PMD’li bir hastada, MH riskine karşı uygulanan dantrolen profilaksisi ve anestezi takibi ile ilgili deneyimlerimizi sunduk.

Abstract

Progresnine museuloey dysisophy (PMD) is a congenital and progressive disease which usually starts in childhood. For these patients, many surgical procedures might be necessary in the management of extremity sequels. Like the other muscular diseases, there is a high risk of MH in PMD. We present anaesthetic maintanence and Dantrolene prophylaxis in this particular PMD case who underwent a surgical precedure under general anaesthesia., .
