The prevalence of traumatic reticuloperitonitis in cattle of Kars province

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Kars yöresi sığırlarında retikulo- peritonitis travmatikanın (RPT) prevalansını ortaya çıkartmaktı. Bu çalışma rast gele seçilen 1826 (537 erkek, 1289 dişi) sığır üzerinde yürütüldü. Bütün sığırlar metal detektör ile muayene edildikten sonra, detektör pozitif sığırlara klinik muayene ve glutaraldehid testi uygulandı. Ek olarak, total lökosit (TL) ve formül lökosit sayımları, yapıldı. Klinik ve laboratuar testleri temelinde D + sığırlar içinde RPT'li sığırlar teşhis edildi. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, tüm sığırlar içinde D +'lerin oranı, D +'lerin içinde RPT'lilerin oranı ve tüm muayene edilen sığırlar içinde RPT'lilerin oranı sırasıyla % 29,34, % 17,35 ve % 4.99 olarak tespit edildi.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to expose the prevalence of traumatic reticuloperitonitis (TRP) in cattle of Kars province. The study was carried out on randomly selected 1826 cattle (537 male, 1289 female). After all cattle were examined with metal detector, clinic examination and glutaraldehide test (G test) were applied to the cattle with detector positive (D +). In addition, total leukocyte (TL) and differential leukocyte (DL) counts were performed. Cattle with TRP were diagnosed on the basis of clinical and laboratory test results in cattle with D +. In the conclusion of this study, the rates of D + in all cattle, the rates of cattle with TRP in the D + and the rates of cattle with TRP in all examined cattle were determined as 29.34%, 17.35% and 4.99% respectively.
