Özet
Tüp torakostomi ve toraks drenajı, plevral alanda normalden fazla miktarda bulunan hava ve sıvının çıkarılması için cerrahide kullanılan bir tekniktir. Tekniğin uygulanması için, iyi bir toraks anatomi ve fizyoloji bilgisi gerekmektedir. Bununla birlikte tekniği uygulayacak kişi ekipman, anestezi tekniği, drenaj yöntemleri, uygulama sonrası oluşabilen komplikasyonlar ve bunların önlemleri gibi birçok konu hakkında iyi bir teorik bilgiye sahip olmalıdır. Bu derlemede tüp torakostomi ve toraks drenajı için gerekli olabilecek bilgilerin sunulması amaçlanmıştır.
Abstract
Tube thoracostomy and thoracic drainage are techniques that have been used to remove the abnormal amount of air or fluid from the pleural cavity in surgery. A good knowledge on thoracic anatomy and physiology has needed to practice of the technique. However, the person that will use technique should have a good theorical knowledge about some topics such as equipment, technique of anesthesia, drainage techniques, complica-tions and cautions of placement of thoracostomy tube. In this review, presentation of knowledge which was need to placement of thoracostomy tube and thoracic drainage was aimed.
