Cilt bazoskuamöz hücreli karsinoma’da pulmoner metastazektomi: Olgu sunumu

Özet

Derinin bazoskuamöz hücreli karsinomu (Metatipik Karsinom, BSHK), hem bazal hücreli hem de yassı hücreli kanser özellikleri gösteren, nadir bir klinikopatolojik antitedir. Bazal hücreli karsinomun (BHK) bir varyantı olarak kabul edilse de BHK’nın tersine metastaz potansiyeli yüksektir. BSHK’nın akciğer metastazlarında metastazektomi uygulamalarına ilişkin yayın tespit edilmemiştir. Bu çalışmamızda burun derisi üzerinde BSHK nedeniyle opere edilen, primer tümörün kontrol altına alınmasından sonra, sağ akciğerdeki metastatik lezyona wedge rezeksiyon uygulanan 67 yaşında erkek hasta ender rastlanması nedeniyle literatür bilgileri eşliğinde sunuldu.

Abstract

Basosquamous cell carcinoma (metatypic carcinoma, BSCC) of the dermis is a rare clinocopathologic entity which shows basaloid cell and squamous cell carcinoma properties. Even if basosquamous cell carcinoma is conceded a variant of basaloid cell carcinoma, it has a higher metastatic potential than basaloid cell carcinoma. There is no publication which evaluates metastasectomy of the pulmonary metastases of basosquamous cell carcinoma. In this study a 67 year old male patient, who had been operated on for basosquamous cell carcinoma on the skin of his nose and also underwent right thoracotomy and wedge resection for the metastatic lesion on his right lung after resection of the primary tumour, was presented in the light of the current literature because of its rarity.
