Retroperitoneal ve böbrek inflamatuar psödotümör: Bir olgu sunumu ve literatür tekrarı

Özet

İnflamatuvar psödotümör ender bir görülen bir lezyondur. Klinik ve radyolojik olarak tümörü taklit etmesine rağmen gerçek bir tümör değildir. Histopatolojik olarak dokuda proliferatif miyofibroblastlar, histiositler ve plazma hücre artışı ile karakterizedir. Etiyolojisinde belli bir neden bulunmamakla birlikte gelişiminde inflamatuar olayların yer aldığı gösterilmiş ancak spesifik bir enfeksiyon etkeni ortaya konulamamıştır. Tedavide en sık cerrahi rezeksiyon uygulanmakla birlikte kortikosteroid veya antibiyoterapi ile de başarılı sonuçlar alınmaktadır. Burada radyolojik olarak retroperitonda ve böbrekte malin kitle şüphesi olan ve retroperitondan alınan biyopsi materyalinin patolojik incelenmesinde İnflamatuvar psödotümör tespit edilen ve antibiyoterapi uygulanarak tedavi edilen 40 yaşındaki bir olgu literatürde irdelenerek sunulmaktadır.

Abstract

Introduction: Inflammatory pseudotumor (IPT) is a rare benign condition of unknown etiology characterized by proliferetive myofibroblasts, fibroblasts, histiocytes and occasionally plasma cells and lymphocytes. it is not a real neoplasm despite mimicking the tumor as clinically and radiologically. Although the etiology is unknown, there are some inflammatory episodes slıown in its existence but any specific infective agent couldn't found. Surgical resection is mostly performed in its treatment but there are also successful results taken by corticosteroid and antibiotic therapy. Forty years old patient treated with antibiotic therapy is presented with literatures in this case report, in which there was a malignant mass suspicion in retroperitoneum and kidney radiologically. Histopatological examination of biopsy material of the retroperitoneal mass was determined as inflammatory pseudotumor.
