Özet
Medulla spinalis yaralanmasına bağlı gelişen flask mesane ve overflow inkontinansı olan bir olgu takdim edildi. Yeterli incelenmenin yapılması ve hastaya gerekli eğitimin verilmesi durumunda üriner sistemin fonksiyonel özelliklerinin basit radikal tedbirlerle kontrol altına alınabileceği bu hastada, bu unsurların göz ardı edilmesi sonucu peniste yanlış turnike uygulamalarına bağlı ileri derecede doku kaybı olması nedeniyle parsiyel penektomi yapılmıştır.
Abstract
A case with flaccid bladder and overflow incontinence for 14 years has been presented. Our patient is a 38 years old male whose problems could have been solved by giving adequate education and talking about measures of bladder overdistension at first As a result of applying a number of penile tourniquets by the patient himself advanced spontaneous penile amputation has been developed. A partial penectomy was found to be mandatory, whereas only intermittent catheterisation would have been enough to resolve all his problems if it had taught to him at his first consultant 14 years ago.
