Özet
İkiden fazla sayıda testis olması poliorşidizm olarak adlandırılır ve çok ender görülen bir doğumsal bozukluktur. Literatürde günümüze kadar 100'den az olgu bildirilmiştir. Kasık ağrısı şikayetiyle başvuran 21 yaşındaki hastanın muayenesinde sağ skrotumda testise bitişik 1 cm'lik kitle saptandı. Ultrasonografide bu kitlenin testis ile aynı ekojenitede olduğu görüldü ve aksesuar testis olarak değerlendirildi. Eksize edilen kitlenin histopatolojik incelemesinde atrofik testis dokusu saptandı, herhangi bir displazi yada metaplazi görülmedi.
Abstract
Introduction: Polyorchidism is defined as the presence of more than two testes and it is a rare congenital abnormality. Less than 100 cases were reported in the literature. We report the case of 21 year-old man presented with inguinal pain and right scrotal mass approximately 1 cm in diameter close proximal to right testis. Scrotal sonographic examination revealed that the mass had same echogenicity with the testis and this situation was suggested as polyorchidism. Histological examination of the removed mass confirmed the tissue as testicular tissue. There were no dysplastic and metaplastic changes.
