Özet

Duygusal emek ve çalışan iyi oluş hali hizmet sektöründe son dönemlerde önem arz eden örgütsel davranış konularındandır. Örgütlerin insan kaynağına daha çok önem vermesiyle örgütler çalışanların duygu ve davranışlarının örgütün amaçlarıyla uyumlu hale getirilmesini hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışanların farklı özelliklerinin farklı duygusal emek sergilemelerine yol açabileceğinden söz edilebilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, demografik özelliklere göre duygusal emek boyutları ve çalışan iyi oluş hali boyutlarındaki farklılıkları incelemektir. Hipotez içeren bu çalışmada, hizmet sektöründeki 233 işgören üzerinde anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Bulgulara göre duygusal emek boyutlarının cinsiyet, yaş, çalışma süresi ve eğitim düzeyine göre farklılık gösterdiği gözlenmişken çalışan iyi oluş hali boyutlarının cinsiyet, yöneticilik yapma ve çalışılan birime göre farklılık gösterdiği gözlenmiştir. Sonuçta, duygusal emek ve çalışan iyi oluşu boyutları ile ilgili ilerleyen çalışmalar için öneriler getirilmiştir.

Abstract

Emotional labor and employee well-being are one of the issues of organizational behaviors that have recently become important in the service sector. As organizations give more importance to human resources, organizations aim to harmonize employees' feelings and behaviors with the objectives of the organization. In this context, it can be mentioned that different characteristics of employees may cause them to exhibit different emotional labor. The purpose of this research is to examine the differences in emotional labor dimensions and employee well-being dimensions according to demographic characteristics. In this hypothesis research, a survey was conducted on 233 employees in the service sector. According to the findings it was observed that emotional labor dimensions differ according to gender, age, working time and education level, while the dimensions of employee well-being differ according to gender, being a manager, and the unit. As a result, suggestions were made for further studies on emotional labor and employee well-being dimensions.
