THE TPP: THREAT OR TREAT FOR CHINA?*

Abstract

The conclusion of the TPP has raised many challenges for China, especially on rules issues. This commentary discusses the possible responses by China, as well as how this may lead to a window of opportunity for mutual cooperation between the United States and China.
